Well, when it comes to marketing your business on Instagram, there’s a lot of different ways to do it. And some not so ethical if you now what I mean. 😉 😉
Frankly, I see a lot of folks who just don’t even seem to care. They’ll just blast out their stuff all day long with very little regard to what they’re even doing. Complete mindlessness. Most quit within a few weeks anyway. But there are a stubborn few that will try and keep the train-wreck going.
Hats off to ya! But you’re just not going to get that far. Especially if you don’t really know how to tow that line.
The line I’m talking about here is, when to pitch your business…
And this isn’t just for Instagram. It’s on any social media platform.
When should you reach out to a person, and ask them if they want to join your business opportunity?
Because this is where most will get it wrong. You’ve heard of the book “Go For No” right? I think that whole premise is just taken completely out of context.
Just blast your link out to as many people as possible, and then wait for the people to start joining. The problem, is that people never will. And you’ll feel like you’ve wasted your time, energy, and hard earned money. And those are things you just can’t get back.
So what are we supposed to do?
Well here’s what I was taught to do. Attraction marketing. It’s when people reach out to me about my business, instead of me doing the whole pitch and chase thing.
I tell you what, things shifted drastically when I embraced the whole concept of attraction marketing.
Leads started flowing in automatically, and I started signing people up in my sleep! Go figure! Haha
Our business seemed to explode overnight. We had folks reaching out every single day. All because of a simple shift in what we were doing on a consistent daily basis.
So how does attraction marketing translate to Instagram?
My suggestion is to start simple.
Start reaching out to people, not with the intention of recruiting them, or selling them some product. But just to make an honest connection. Make friends!
I know that this concept might go against everything that you’re being taught right now. But trust me, the sign-ups and sales will come. Start sharing stuff that people want to see in their Instagram feeds. Use the opportunity to build a relationship, and a network of people that you’d like to work with.
After all, it is called “network marketing.” You should be focused on building a huge network! Not pitching your business to total strangers.
It’s so much more fun when you flip the script. The conversations are better, the money is better, lol. And your whole vision will change when you realize what’s possible!
